Films are part of CMS DNA; as avid film fans, we know how to launch our content to the right audience with complete marketing packaging and localize the messages for the targeted audience.
In 2020, we launched this division by offering some components as stand-alone services. Still, in 2022, after reviewing our experience, we relaunched the division with an independent cinema as a focus with a boutique distribution agency mindset to focus on a limited number of titles every year. The division also curates themed film screenings for non-theatrical screenings in collaboration with regional cultural organizations.
Founded in 2003, Latido Films commercialises Spanish-speaking and European films worldwide, from arthouse to box-office, animation and ground-breaking documentaries, with a line-up capped at 15 titles per year.

Written by H.H. Dr Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and based on the true story of a village that revolted against Portuguese rule in the early 1500s. CMS was film sales agent and distribution consultant; the film launched with MAF-VOX in the UAE on 17 December 2020 and was in the top 5 for a few weeks. The CMS creative team did the full branding: poster, billboards, printables, lampposts and digital screens.
